When measuring your RV for a replacement slide topper, measure between the outside edges of both slide-out room flanges. The fabric measurement should correspond to the flange-to-flange measurement, with the fabric itself being 5” shorter than the complete awning width. For example, a flange-to-flange slide-out size of 64” will require an awning width selection of 6’ for complete coverage. The slide topper can be placed up to 5” above the trim on top of your slide-out room for added flexibility during installation.
